Midpoint
Integrated Design Program, The New School · 2025
Motion Graphics | After Effects
Midpoint was the senior thesis exhibition for the Integrated Design Program at Parsons, The New School. Every student's work is different, but it all overlaps somewhere in the middle. The exhibition was the midpoint.
As the motion designer, the concept of how to bring the posters and polaroids to life was mine.
01 . The Posters
Motion Design | After Effects
Three posters each animated based on the artwork living inside them. But held together by the same visual constants, a shared animation language, and looping seamlessly.
Posters created by Lili Nagy Marner, Nikki Fina,
Owen Mosley, and Zevin Acuña

Features a watercolour painting by Madison Jaet. Animated as if the paint is being applied live on screen.
Features a technical furniture sketch by Vincenzo Pagnotta. Animated to reveal the technical drawing through a geometric shape transitions.
Features a second painting by Madison Jaet. The shapes bulges and contracts in a breathing motion.
02 . The Polaroid Reel
Motion Design | After Effects

76 Polaroids, one for every student in the graduating class. The reel rotates through all the Polaroids on a 2 by 3 grid, ending on the Midpoint and IDP logo.
Formatted for both Instagram (1080x1920) and the digital display screens at the University Center and Vera List Center at The New School — used to promote the exhibition.
All 76 Polaroids were taken by Beatrice Neal and scanned by Valentina Bello.
